As we get closer to our launch of our 2nd MVP, we are keen to update you with our latest features releases on the site. We're thrilled to announce a series of exciting new features and improvements that will elevate your knowledge management experience to new heights. These updates are designed to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and make the Modus AI platform even more intuitive and powerful.

Bulk Import + Auto-Categorization

We're excited to introduce Bulk Import, our latest feature that makes your transition onto Modus AI a lot more seamless. The bulk import process allows you to select multiple files and notes for import. A premium option is available to enable auto-categorisation and tagging during the import process. Paid plan users are therefore able to use AI to categorize their imported notes into modules, whilst applying relevant tags. You will then receive a summary of the categorization with the option to review and refine.

This feature simplifies the transition to Modus by reducing the manual effort needed to organize imported notes, ensuring seamless integration of external content into the user’s existing knowledge system, and enhancing the Zettelkasten method by maintaining the integrity of connections and organisation during import.

Infinite Knowledge Canvas

We are really excited to share some more information around our Infinite Knowledge Canvas feature. The Infinite Knowledge Canvas in Modus AI enhances visual knowledge management by allowing users to create modules and easily manage notes within a dynamic visual canvas. It supports both manual connections and AI-assisted suggestions, facilitating effective brainstorming and organization of thoughts.

• Creating Modules and Notes: You can create modules within the mind map and drag and drop notes into these modules or create new notes directly within the mind map.

• Manual and AI-Assisted Connections: You can manually draw connections between notes, reflecting their thought process, while AI suggestions appear as subtle, non-intrusive prompts that users can click to accept or modify connections.

• Interactive Visualization: The canvas provides a dynamic visual representation of the user’s knowledge base, showing modules, notes, and their connections, facilitating brainstorming and mind mapping.

AI-Powered Contextual Linking

Our upcoming AI-Powered Contextual Linking feature in Modus AI automatically suggests connections between notes based on their content and context. By leveraging advanced natural language processing, it enhances the Zettelkasten method by identifying related concepts and themes within your notes and across various sources.

The AI-Powered Contextual Linking feature provides significant value by enhancing the quality of connections between notes, which deepens your understanding of your own Second Brain. By surfacing unexpected connections and insights, it not only saves time in manual linking but also fosters a more comprehensive grasp of related concepts and themes, ultimately improving the efficiency of information management for knowledge workers.
