Modus

Hey ,

It has been a minute! Here at Modus, we've been diligently working to evolve Modus into the ultimate knowledge management platform. Our objective is clear: to streamline the capture, storage, and utilisation of insights. In an era where digital information expands relentlessly, navigating through assorted formats such as PDFs, web URLs, and notes can be overwhelming. This fragmentation not only increases cognitive load but also hampers productivity.

At Modus, we leverage sophisticated AI to synthesise and prioritise information, dramatically simplifying the management process. This means you can release the burden of memorising or tracking each piece of information manually. With Modus, you’re free to focus on what matters most: the content, the arguments, and the ideas.

We are excited to share some significant updates with you. Recent months have been centred on refining the functionalities that make note-taking and information storage both straightforward and intuitive. We believe these enhancements mark a significant milestone in our suite of organisational tools.

Utilise all 5 filters at once to easily segment your notes

One of the standout features is AI-Powered Auto-tagging. This feature automatically scans your notes, analyses the content, and assigns three relevant tags that best capture the themes discussed. It's designed to minimise manual sorting and improve overall organisation. Simply select a note from your library, click the blue 'Autofill' button, and see how it instantly populates your note with suggested tags tailored to its specific content and ideas.

Simply click ‘Autofill’ to populate suggested tags for that note

Additionally, we have completely enhanced the Note Editor this April. The first in a series of updates includes a redesigned editor interface, now featuring a convenient dropdown menu for note management, visible in the image below. This update also includes a more sophisticated management of tags and modules.

Manage your tags and modules in the top right menu

We’ve also introduced a robust filtering system in your note library, enabling you to efficiently categorise and access your notes by type, tag, module, and more.

By tailoring these features to the specific needs of academics, researchers, and knowledge workers, Modus is set to revolutionise the way knowledge is managed, making a seamless knowledge management system a reality.
